In this series of five seminars we will give an introduction on the quantitative positions in the financial industry and what it is required to ace the interviews in these positions. The flavor of the problems asked for these positions is more technical rather than theoretical: the interviewers want to test your reasoning skills. This is why a particular focus will be on the problem solving techniques required to solve these problems. In each class we will solve problems from previous interviews explaining the different problem solving techniques behind these problems.
